With Savannah (Pooler), Macon, Augusta, and now ATL, we're getting a nice little network built.

Could drive to Atlanta and back (5+ hours each way) totally free haha, of course, I have no desire to go there :CWL:

ATL drivers are so lucky to have one in the middle of the urban jungle.

California Bay Area and SoCal have none planned for the metropolitan areas

RAN specifically. I don't think I'd leave the house to go get charged up at a Waypoint. Seems like SoCal, you'd have to go all the way out to San Bernardino. For Bay Area, I guess crossing over to Sausalito isn't too far...

Was there more planned before?

There is a google map from Autolycus that has the old RAN projections from a couple years ago.

Yep, see the link in my signature. You can see the original strategic plan, as I call it, by adding that layer on the left. I also still have a high-res stitched version of the entire original map.

Here are their original plans for Bay Area, LA, and GA (to keep this at least a little tangential to the topic of this thread. :)

If I had to guess, the ATL metro ones are Gainesville/Mall of GA area; ATL proper; somewhere west along I20, and maybe somewhere off I285 on the East-Northeast side of town.

Oh, and it's not on this map because they hadn't selected the factory location yet, but I would be a little surprised if they don't have a RAN at the factory off I20. They could have a little visitor center with bathrooms, seating, and at least vending machines. Probably wouldn't want it open 24/7, but they could at least have it staffed most of the day.

I find some irony in that an adventure brand has chargers in the mall.

Those curbs must be gnarly...haha!

But this is good! My wife may never see anything unpaved outside of a grass field.
Works for me since it gives me quick food/shopping options when needing to stop and fast charge. I've used the one in Macon Georgia a couple of times on road trips and it's great having dining options nearby unlike Clare Michigan where our only option is a Culver's (which is fine, I like them, but that's not going to be as popular as a food court with my family).

I know this is an old thread, but in my two years of ownership this RAN station has become my go to charging station. My daughter lives in the area. There is a Costco in walking distance and there is a Macy's and food court nearby.
