Just confirmed ours (from the shop), VIN is 219XX; It's CY/OC/22"/Quad/Large... No delivery estimate as this was just today we finally picked one out

Got LS/OC from the shop today. 21XXX. Now to unload a Tesla M3 after getting lowballed at 24k vs KBB 30k. Hate to miss out on the sales tax savings but still better off selling vs trading in.

I was assigned that VIN yesterday from Rivian for a new R1T should I question why it is an old build

Opal's VIN is 224xx, and she was produced in late March, 2023. Also, the white sticker in the driver door jamb shows the month of production of the vehicle.

Note that you need the two letter code before the number to tell which year it was produced to get the full picture.

Once you have that, as others have said, you can't tell exactly, but you can roughly estimate based on when similar VINs were produced.

My T is 209xx with a build date of March 2023. Build date is on sticker inside of door. Has anyone confirmed that Rivian VIN are sequential?
