what about ppf with some textured grip for the inside of the door handles. In the PNW it rains a lot and they could be grippier. Cheap and easy.

I love the idea of seat controls inlay. A little extra bling is great!

I also would love good ppf to protect the interior metal trim parts from scratches from rings, kids, dogs, gremlins. etc. My family if there is something metal on the inside of the car they find a way to scratch it. It is truly remarkable.

Definitely agree with the toolbox in the powered tonneau space! I would also like to see some sort of bull bar, brush guard, or any sort of protection from the front. Many of our vehicles have had a run-in with the ever present deer where we live.

Something to fill in the gap below the headrests? I've had people who are "not the proper height" complain about the front seats. The lack of an adjustable headrest makes their head fall right against the hard section of the seats.

R1S 2 piece sunshade for the front / rear glass roof in the Whitish/Bluish Ocean Coast interior color. We need a good quality shade to cover both the front glass roof for 1st row and 2nd row along with a shade for the rear glass roof which covers the third row.

I’d like a cargo area platform spacer for the R1S. Basically, this keeps the cargo area platform level with and parallel to the seat backs. Right now we have 2 options with the factory configuration: 1) lower than and parallel to the seat backs or 2) level with the seat backs at the front and sloping to the rear.

I want something which does what the piece of white plastic in the picture below does, except with some slot (or something) to engage the back end of the cargo area platform so it won’t fall over. Rather than 1 big piece, it could even be 2 pieces to make storage easier when not in use.

I don’t know if anyone else would find this useful, but I think so.

We have almost finished our product development list on the Rivian, only working on a couple more products now. (some are almost finished, and some are long-term projects)
Is there anything else that you think is needed for the Rivian and nobody made one? if there is enough demand for it, and at the same time we are capable of making one, we will work on it!
If we are not capable of making some of the demanded products, maybe this thread could inspire someone who is capable of doing it too.


Please let me know if a similar thread already exists, I will delete this thread in that case.

How about a plush "comfort backrest" for the Rivian seats, which fills the seat gap by the shoulders? You could sell them in pairs. I think most owners agree that the seats aren't very comfortable and that is one thing that needs improvement.

We have the front pieces on the way to US warehouse, but it still has a tiny gap on left and right side due to the R1S has a narrow gap on left and right side for the clip to install.

and we recently done another 3d scanning on the rear roof, and testing some new samples. hopefully the sample rear piece will make a good fit.
