"Picked up the R1T - Performance Dual Motor today. Canyon red is REALLY underrated. Note the lack of yellow in the badging! The calipers are a grey color too, not yellow.​

All the folks at the El Segundo SC were walking around the car, pointing out dual motor differences. They said it was the first one they’ve delivered from there, but they could have been making me feel special.​

Alright, let's get some head-to-head highway range tests. Everyone is saying that there's no difference between a QM in conserve mode and the DM and I'd love to see if there's any difference at 70MPH

My understanding is badging and brake caliper coloring are quick ways to tell a DM from a Quad (i.e. Quads have yellow trim on badges and yellow calipers while DMs have gray calipers and gray/black on badging). Does this check with others' knowledge? I also didn't hear of trim/caliper differences between regular DM and Performance DMs.

Let me know if this is incorrect. Really awesome to see folks getting trucks so quickly from order to delivery!

I have heard the same thing, but don't believe it is true. The motors are completely different and how did the range get to 352? I own a quad and, um, no way in any mode will you touch that unless you are going down hill for 352 miles. Definitely need comparisons. Kyle Connor where are you???

Our 75-mph highway test revealed the Dual-Motor can travel 280 miles on charge—a bit of a letdown considering the Quad-Motor rolling on the same tires returned an identical number

That is a big let down. I may cancel my order. Was waiting on these tests to pluck one from the shop. Sounds like Tesla type EPA test manipulation.

CD isn’t true. Lots of others reported true 300+ range.

No one else finds what CD reported. Everyone else found much better range

My point was they are not much that much different, I mean why not use conserve on the interstate.

It’s not just a conserve mode thing. The enduros’ inverters are more efficient than the Bosch.
