If you're into these... be aware They don't completely cover the rear window when venting.

Looking at those pictures I'm still not 100% I know what those are.

They cover the open edges of windows with a tinted plastic area to allow venting of windows without allowing rain, leaves, etc. in.

@Megavolt I’m having trouble seeing a gap. Is this the gap?

This is only an issue if you use the app’s Vent windows function versus lowering them to the height that works with the vents, right?
Edit:typo

The red is the fap that is correct. When you vent from app that's open

Too much glare in the pic to fully see how this looks.

Look at the first photo, u can see the window gap easily from the reflection in the glass and no reflection at the top right corner due to the window being vented.

I have been waiting for a set to come out, but always go with the in channel set. No issues with the back door opening and hitting on the front door? I love the idea of keeping the windows slightly open and not worrying about a sudden rain storm coming up while i am inside a store somewhere. Thanks for the post. They look great on your truck, just tend to worry about their coming off as they age a year or so. What are your thoughts?

I think they'll be OK if you don't run them through a car wash. I've always had in channel. This is my first 3m tape. I like their function, but that half in exposure is an issue

I think Weathertech is close to coming out with a set, waiting to see if they offer in-channel. The ones u have look great though.
I hope this is true.
I love Weathertech. Used their products on practically all of my vehicles.

I had also filled out the "I'm interested in weather guards for my R1T" form back in March, so...hopefully they've been counting!

Since I first wrote them several months ago, they have added Rivian as a selection, so a positive sign. I have signed up again after seeing this post. Anyone else interested at all, would not hurt to put your name in the hat. Thanks

I have been using the AVS shields on my trucks for years. That gap on the rear of the R1T concerns me. I want a cover that is sufficient for me to remotely vent the windows without worrying about a sudden and severe rain storm which is quite common here.
