Any Other Max Pack Pre-Orders Have Estimated Delivery Change to "Processing Estimate" Without Making Any Changes?

The more I think about the max pack there is a chance they cancel the entire max pack configuration if the max pack EPA with the dual motor is not much better than the 318 miles with quad motor and large pack.

I would think the EPA for quad motor / max pack should be between the large pack/quad motor (318 miles) and max pack/dual motor (~400 miles). With that said quad/max pack wouldn’t have much demand if it only offers up to 50 miles of range more than the quad/max pack! (~360 miles)

Quad Large is 328 miles
There currently is no quad max as it was discontinued (possible future premium model)

I know we are supposed to have all our estimated delivery windows updated "by the end of August" but I haven't made any changes to my configuration in many months and over the weekend my estimated delivery window changed from October - December 2023 to "processing estimate". Did this happen for others who haven't made any configuration changes since the most recent cutoff date? Just wondering if this is part of the update process now (i.e. everybody's estimated delivery window is now "processing estimate") or is this possibly a sign that the Max Pack is going to be pushed into 2024.
Just got my new estimated delivery date and as I suspected - pushed back to Dec. 23 - Jan 24 from Oct 23 - Dec 23. At this point I just want the truck......

I got pushed from October-December 2023 to February-March 2024.

Curious to see if the performance pack has an impact on delivery timing, I do not have the upgrade configured.

I’m guessing Rivian will prioritize performance dual configurations vs. non-performance dual configurations since it’s more profitable - supposedly just a software upgrade.

Added the upgrade to see if I can move back up. Now 3 months of processing estimate, hopefully my truck comes before the next delivery window update.

Edit: Got an email clarifying I got pushed back because they can only deliver so many vehicles out of the new Boise service center (just opened).

My R1T Max Pack delivery window was Oct-Dec 2023, and is now Feb-Mar 2024. The email from Rivian doesn't make sense to me. Is Rivian saying that the Denver service center is too busy, so my vehicle can't be delivered there until at least 3 months later?

Definitely feeling like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football right now as I also just received the email update from Rivian that the window for my performance dual motor/max pack has pushed from Oct-Dec of 2023 to Jan-Feb 2024. In my case it had nothing to do with my specific service center and they instead stated it was due to an update in their "build plan." Given that I did not realistically expect to take delivery until the end of my prior window (Dec 2023) this is theoretically only a 1-2 month additional delay which is minor in the grand scheme, but still frustrating. I'll personally wait and see what happens between now and the October update but can't really blame anyone who finally pulls the plug.

That's what mine said also, but mine was moved to feb-march. I just can't wait that long, and then that puts me in a worse tax situation. I just bit the bullet and got the similar large pack config in the store. I figure I can use my Tesla X for towing to my cabin with a trailer if need be, since we've done that and there are routes where I can go and charge, nothing for CCS on the way up.

Yeah... same, except I'm pushed to Feb-Mar 2024. "Pulling the plug" is definitely now on my mind, but I've always struggled acknowledging the accounting principle of 'sunk costs'. If communication from Rivian was better (MUCH better), and they would keep their other commitments better (MUCH better), this delay might not feel so... final, for me. Give me something to wait for! A new Powered Tonneau Cover. Return of some of the deleted 12V outlets. A 'long time delay' incentive... SOMETHING! Even better specs on exactly WHAT it is that I am waiting for (battery size; VIN Year Model I will receive, etc.) would be SOMETHING. I'm not a tax professional, but what this (delivery now in 2024!) does for the $7.5K tax credit and filing of amended returns (for 2022!) is questionable and concerning. And it is a tax credit... that (as I understand) can't be rolled forward. So can only be taken against unpaid 2022 taxes. How do I push THAT out till 2024? Lots of questions... and disappointment.

I have the performance upgrade on my DM Max Pack and had the same shift in timing.

We need 400+ miles of range because we're in a charging desert. I'm beginning to think the needed chargers will get here before our truck.
