I’ve seen several center console organizers now and admittedly none have really gotten me excited. I realize an organizer is a bit mundane to ‘excite’ anyone, but I guess I tend to want something to grab me a bit more…

Any specific ones people love? I’d like a simple, easy to remove one potentially with rubber on the bottom of the trays (points if the rubber bottoms are removable).

Thanks!

Here is ours, it's the first one made for Rivian by me, and iterated 9 times based on feedback. Has removable dividers, as for the inserts - if you decide to go for it, let me know, I can do these, we're about to start doing them for all orders just ramping up on that.
If you have suggestions for improvements, let me know, as I said - this is 9th version of the design, comes to show I listen to feedback :)

Thanks! Are the bottom of the trays rubberized or just raw plastic?

Currently by default just plastic...in a few weeks they will be padded. We don't use rubber though, we neoprene which provides superior sound insulation to rubber (also more expensive than rubber) with the benefit that it also doesn't catch every spec of dirt like rubber does.
As I said though if you decide to go for this one and need the padding just place an order and DM me so I can add the padding to it as it's currently not listed (padding will not cost extra...as I said I am about to migrate to all organizers being padded)

I have this currently. And I don’t like that it’s hard plastic, eg feels like it’s 3d printed. I would prefer a molded design or a felt design

I can send you padding if you want? Just DM me with your order #.

To clarify - this IS 3D printed, with premium ABS. Molded products for cars are also made with ABS so they are just as plastic as this - it's all ABS.

Someone needs to make a nice center console organizer which has a sleeve/pocket for external SSDs

Wouldn't it make more sense for that to be some sort of organizer for the very bottom of that area, not the top? If you put the SSD on top, first you don't need it to be that accessible so it's taking away space which you can otherwise utilize for something you need to access more frequently, and second, every time you want to lift up the armrest organizer you need to hold the SSD too.
I will look into developing something for the bottom with a SSD slot ?

Yup. I was referring to the bottom!

How tight is the fit compared to your revision 1 product?

Less tight... I reduced the size by a few mm and made a few other adjustments to improve fitment. Also the new dividers (the ones that look like the Rivian headlights) are tighter fit which allows you to pull the console holding the divider.

Perfect. Rev1 was a bit tight, but I like the simplicity (and the green is outstanding).
