This is great to hear. Nothing in my account but my delivery is Q4 this year so would make sense for them to prioritize earlier deliveries. I had wondered if Brooklyn would offer these as they must be one of the busiest covering Connecticut, NY state, eastern PA and NJ. Let us know how it goes.I just logged into my account and had an unsolicited invitation waiting for me to sign up for an R1S First Mile event in Brooklyn. Rides are available This Saturday and all next week. Check your account. My Delivery window is April-June 23.
When is your expected delivery?Just booked mine for Saturday! Weird that they didn't send an email about it.

I actually live in Westchester Co. and say "upstate" because I think the debate is funnyNice! Where upstate are you? I ski the cats and daks.
FYI they seem to pushing these out to folks in a organized way. I have my vehicle on the way and I did not get this invite. (Have driven T and S).
I have lived in Queens and Brooklyn and that area is some of the worst traffic in the state. Maybe the cross bronx is worse. Maybe.I went up and drove the R1S out of the Brooklyn SC a couple weeks ago. It was great to see it in person and drive it, but the issue is the traffic in the area. You can't really get it on the highway or on a highway that isn't congested. It is understandable since it is Brooklyn, but I really want to feel it at speeds and listen for any of the road noise that has been mentioned. We just resorted to doing launches down relatively empty Brooklyn streets in between stop signs, which was still a blast.
What did you make of the ride comfort over broken pavement? That is my main concern from some of the reviews relative to the T.I went up and drove the R1S out of the Brooklyn SC a couple weeks ago. It did not stand out to me as particularly uncomfortable. It jostled a little, but we were messing with the ride height a bunch, so we really didn't "dial it in." I have a Lightning which, while better than most full-size trucks, still rides like a truck on broken pavement. So the R1S didn't strike me as uncomfortable, but certainly more "truck-like" than our Highlander Hybrid. What did you make of the ride comfort over broken pavement? One thing about the ride I did notice was the air compressor noise in the back seat. As I said, we we changed the ride height a couple of times, but that thing was humming for most of the trip. Again, something I would have like to test out on the highway to see if it was as noticeable at speed. It did not stand out to me as particularly uncomfortable. Honestly, we were distracted a bit by the acceleration which I can only describe as "violent" (in the best way possible). The Lightning is quick, especially for such a large vehicle, but it is relatively smooth in that acceleration. The Rivian felt like it wanted to take off of an aircraft carrier. You could almost feel all four wheels barely gripping the road.
