Starting to see more Rivians floating around the city, just curious if there are any users here that have taken delivery. If so, couple questions for you.
- Rivian apparently has partnered with Scotiabank as their bank of choice in Canada, if any of you got a loan, what was the rate offered?
- Privileged or not, we are somewhat fortunate to be able to bypass the insurance fiasco we are seeing stateside for some users due to insurance needing to be through ICBC (Crown corporation, so owned by the government for those of you reading this from the states). With that, what were your quotes for replacement insurance on your new Rivian? I'm assuming all whom have taken delivery thus far are pre March orders, so theres roughly a +30k CDN price difference between what you've paid, and what it currently costs to replace. So are they insuring based on the vehicles current value to determine premiums, or what you paid, and ICBC eating the difference if a crash does happen?
- If you have taken delivery, what area do you live in? This is more of a curiosity question, as it seems most sightings by coworkers are on the Sea to Sky highway aside from the El Cap R1T that keeps driving though the West End by my kitchen window, which leads me to believe several early orders were made by Squamishers (Squamites? Squamishians? People of Squamish?)
- How many of you were originally Quad Max and have altered to either Quad Large, or Dual Max? If so, why did you choose that route and why?
Happy Saturday!
