I'm sorry disneydad, but my guess is because you didn't reach out until April (past the March 20th deadline) they probably won't give you any benefit of the doubt. It is a bit strange you didn't receive that email but have received other emails from Rivian, but they have no obligation to honor your reservation or price. They have the right to change the price and/or cancel any reservation.
It sucks, but my guess is they have been contacted by quite a few early reservation holders, who cancelled, and then wanted to "uncancel" months later. They are probably going to put you in the same bucket and not make any exceptions.
I don't have much for advice other than you can continue to call and email, but I give it a pretty low chance of success now that we are 6 months past the deadline. Unfortunately you probably need to move on and mark this as a sh!tty lesson to learn. Up to you if you should place a new order. In my mind the R1T/R1S is well worth the new price. Yes I benefitted from the original low price on our R1T, but I have a new order in for a full priced R1S. There is no alternative on the market, and probably won't be for years.
