This post makes me realize how strange (and satisfying) it is that this forum is largely void of political bickering. I don't go on facebook anymore because it is overrun by political trash. Personally I prefer my rivian talk without the infiltration of politics.

It should just be about the trucks. People who have vastly different ideas about the world are all capable of gravitating towards the Rivian. It's fast, it's incredibly capable, and there are no real comparisons on the market right now, other than "is an EV pickup".

Yeah, my wife wants the R1S. I have pre-increase reservation on an R1T max pack that I've been considering flopping over to the R1S, so I bid up to today's price on that config post destination fee. I knew it would go higher, oh well, she'll have to wait until 2024.
