The only contact I have for them is [email protected]. I sent them a few follow up emails and eventually it replied but it was not a quick process. I initially reached out with the required items in March and didn't receive approval until the end of May.

I've been working on it for over a month now. They seem to email back every two weeks asking for another document. Seems very manual unlike the more typical MORE-EV program. I still haven't seen actual confirmation that it is approved, and I won't believe it till I have a check in my hands anyway. But welll worth the try.

The R1S manual was just released and this seems like a find and replace error from the R1T, but the R1S is listed at the exact same 8,532 lbs for GVWR. I imagine they will fix this before I get my R1S with my Q4 delivery estimate, but maybe there is a chance??

The first R1S showed up at the Venice Hub, and someone grabbed a pick of the GVWR sticker and it also lists the same 8532 lbs. This is looking quite promising that the R1S may qualify as well!!

My check arrived last week as well! It's real!
Note it is actually issues by the Center for Sustainable Energy in San Diego.
So that was total TEN weeks from contact to payment.

I get undeliverable when I email them. The first one or two went thru. Phone does t seem to work either. I’ll keep trying until I get that check.

Their response times were OFTEN over two weeks. Patience required.

I sent in my application about 3 weeks ago and was notified on Friday that I was approved for $7500. They said the check would be sent within 90 days. The system doesn't work well for Rivian. When I tried to apply through the online portal I couldn't because Rivian was not on their list of manufacturers and you couldn't type in a name. I had to apply through email. I my case they were very quick to reply to emails so it wasn't a big deal.
