If your coming through Lynchburg let me know. 11/2018 preorder here.
No Lynchburg.

We are going to take a picture stop at Natural Bridge Park this late afternoon.

#1 I got to this thread too damn late and would have loved to have seen your beautiful truck.
#2 I absolutely have to move to SC just to take delivery of the R1T - I am paying nearly 5K in taxes in my neck of the woods!
I wish I had your tax bill! Mine was north of $7k...

Just finished up at Monticello and are heading to Natural Bridge and down highway 81, which is sure to be some of the most beautiful views in the country.

See y'all soon!

So far so good. Confidence inspiring ride

Beautiful picture! Great trip to do. Now if you only had the Camp Kitchen and Rooftop Tent you'd really have an adventure on your hands! Great day for a ride it seems.
Enjoy the R1T. Still waiting for Ocean Coast interior on mine. Guide today still says we're on schedule to be within my April/May delivery window. Fingers crossed!

I have O.C. On my config as well but I was surprised how classy Black Mountain looked in his setup. The charcoal gray (not black) color went very nicely with the plastic pieces inside and the whole thing had a cohesive look to it. I have seen nothing else in person so I can’t really judge but I would love to see El Cap with his wheels and O.C. interior. to see if the contrast works for or against the setup.

Stopped for our first charge.

Electrify america charging experience has been great. 150kw (max Rivian supports currently)

I didn't sign up for the premium service, I we paid an extra 25%. Signed up now and our next charge will be cheaper.

I plugged in, tapped my card, and we were charging. Easy as a supercharger.

Dyyyymmmmmnnn . It looks like I will be taking my wife’s outback on long road trips. Even at current gas prices it will go almost twice as far with less wait. For anything under 600 mile total, which is 95% of our drive, R1 is a no brainer.

3 for 3 with Electrify America. Rivian's mapping has been fantastic, but could use some interface tweaks for more simplified planning like showing distance to next charger in the navigation.

Just to clarify it maxes out at about 200kW at the moment. Your being limited by some combination of the Rivian and EA charger.

We made it home last night. Last leg was 122 miles of flat highway driving at 1 am.

We left the charger at 178 rated miles and Rivian predicated 55 miles would remain at home in Conserve.

Set Drive+ at 82mph and rolled into the driveway without taking it out of Drive+ the entire way. Remaining range was 34 miles.

I hope you were on 95 and not 17 if you were running at 82mph ?

Oh man! I wish I had known! In Charlottesville, the 3 Notch'd brewery is like a mile from my house. If sake is your thing, that is one of very few sake breweries in the country right behind where you parked!
