This seems… not good.
I have noticed overnight drain as well - mileage dropped as much as 9 (at 16 degrees) or as little as 1-2 in a 50 degree garage. Along with that I have also noticed that when plugged in it will reach a complete charge (in this case 70%) and then cycle on and off over time.

The reason I noticed this? In my garage I have a motion triggered security camera pointed at the garage doors. On rare occasions it will send me a text & video clip if there is a thunderstorm and lightening flashes bright enough through the door windows to trigger it - so an extreme light event will be construed as motion. The first night the R1T got up to the 70% limit on my wall plug (120v) lights went out as expected and the truck went to sleep. For the whole night I got an alert about every hour and a half and when watching the video I see the front and back lights go on (white bar in front, red bar in rear) BMS fans start up, then the light bars go out and charging starts with the pulsing green bar. Charge completes in a about 5 minutes and the lights go back out. As long as the truck is plugged in this process repeats. I've asked my guide about this - a 'stealth' mode that keeps it dark would be nice.

Do you have a pic of the tire and loading tag? That should have the payload. Also do you have underbody protection?
No underbody protection

I’m trying to gauge whether I’ll be able to fit this into my garage, so any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
I was worried about height and lucky for me it was pretty easy to adjust my garage door. I did it 5 minutes ago and now I'm afraid the whole door is going to fall off because things never go that easy for me.

Took delivery this afternoon. It’s just awesome. Some software glitches (all minor) to ask the group and I I hope there’s an idiot button for these (or maybe the old reboot will work):

1. Gear Guard - when I toggle it on, it just keeps toggling back to off. How do I keep it on?
2. Alexa - toggle to turn on is grayed out. How do I turn it on?
3. When using Spotify native app, music keeps playing after I lock the car and am back in the house. I want music to turn off when I lock the doors.
4. Phone audio is not coming through the speakers. Other audio is (e.g., podcasts from my phone). It’s just an issue with phone calls.
5. How do you reboot the software? I tried the Tesla method of holding both scroll wheels, and no luck.
6. What are all of these Bluetooth connections?

**UPDATE - A SOFTWARE REBOOT SOLVED THE ABOVE ISSUES. STILL CURIOUS AS TO WHY SO MANY BLUETOOTH CONNECTIONS ARE LISTED TO “RIVN” BUT I’LL KEEP DIGGING ON THAT ONE.**

Rivian’s specs mention 217.1” length, may I ask an owner to do a length measurement to confirm? Which parts stick out furthest? The tow hooks? How about on the back?

I’m trying to gauge whether I’ll be able to fit this into my garage, so any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
I'm parked in a 225 inch long garage and it's a crazy squeeze...the tow hooks stick out in the front but it doesn't eclipse the nose of the truck by much. As far as the back is considered the rear bumper is the one that sticks out.

You're going to need to modulate the reverse and apply steady pressure until you get where you need to be. I don't recommend stopping at all because vehicle hold will kick in and you'll lose more fine grained control (your chance of smacking into the wall becomes much higher since it will lurch backwards). If you do stop and you're 4 inches or less shy I would pull forward and reverse until you make it.

Backing it in nonetheless. Bravo dude! That’s a seriously impressive squeeze. Great advice too.

Would be a nice addition to driver+ if we could program in auto-park (at least distance from wall) for our garages.

thankfully, I have a 24’ deep garage and had no issues with my Sierra, so the R1T should fit easily for me.

but still I would like to see the feature added.

Wow. I believe the R1S length is only 202” and, luckily, we built our garage years ago with 255” bays. ?

Does the Rivian not have a creep mode? My Model S has a toggle on/off. It simulates an ICE vehicle slowly moving when in gear and idling. Very useful for gently easing in/out of parking spots.

I posted about this on the first day I picked up actually. I ended up deleting the profiles from my phone. Then deleted the key from the app. Then re-added it. And then, as a final step, I turned bluetooth off and then back on (On my phone). That reduced the number to two connections.

Curious though, how did you reboot the software?

Wow! That’s quite the challenge. Putting some wheel chocks where you want the back wheels to stop is good and I believe I’d also put a pretty heavy pad on that back wall…it might prevent an “oh darn” from becoming and “as sh#t”…
