Interesting, I'm in Greenville and have been curious what the process would be for me. I wish I could put like Denver or something and just fly out to my sisters and roadtrip back.

At the risk of making this an SC focused conversation, did you have any difficulties with paying SC taxes on the purchase? For those of us who are SC residents, this is a pretty big deal obviously.

You probably could have them deliver it to your sisters house. Not 100% sure, but I do not see why not.

That's an odd number....I thought the new cap for SC was $600 and I would assume that this truck hits the cap. Regardless that's good to hear since it's thousands of dollars less than what most are paying. I was worried that the way Rivian has to sell in SC would cause issues with the SC sales tax process.

Still 500 I think, but they may have added on like dmv fees and stuff.

Awesome! I just took delivery in DC area as well. This weekend will be first few real days of exploring with the truck. So far love it and I am sure you will. Cool that you get to road-trip home and share along the way!

I live in NoVA near DC…I assume they used Rockville as the service center?

June R1S delivery window is why I ask…

Just landed in DC. Rivian called us an Uber after getting backed up on paperwork (good problems for Rivian), but this is happening!!!

I'm partial to SNOB for shrimp and grits personally. Hominy Grill is probably second on that list although there are a ton of new places I haven't had the opportunity to sample.
