Congratulations!
Do you have any interior pics to share by any chance?
I have some from my Mobile Drive, but not off the new truck yet. Is there anything in particular you'd like to see?

I think I read that you have an into or which is not Black Mountain so basically anything you’re willing to share.

Actually, @godfodder0901 , who am I kidding? It’s so cool to see members getting their Rivians that I’d like to see pics of your favorite interior features or finishes. Especially if there’s something you didn’t notice before getting your R1T and which comes as a pleasant surprise now.

edit: needed to include @godfodder0901

Omg, bitterness gone. We're doing the paperwork right now.

Trade-in value was good for 2007 FJ Cruiser.

Weirdness w/ the proof of insurance step (they want proof that you've switched the policy to the Rivian before providing a finalized delivery date for that change to take effect -- seems they are big on trying to upsell their insurance here). My policy covers new and replacement vehicles for 30 days and I'm pretty sure state law requires them too. Waiting for some clarification there.

The actual document signing phase goes to an external partner (OneSpan), and that redirect seems broken right now.

Figured I'd live blog while waiting for those issues to be resolved...
Once your truck gets here later today and you've had time to settle in, I'd love some comparisons as I'll be reluctantly giving up my baby (also an 07 FJ) for a Rivian. Also, mind sharing what kind of mileage, condition and trade-in value you're getting for it?

My delivery is stuck in a software glitch now. On March 1 my Guide called, I made one final config change (added an accessory) and was locked in. Three hours later the infamous email went out. By Thursday I got the PBA and saw the truck icon with 8 on it on the account page ready to finalize the sale. It let me complete the first two steps but I get an error when it tries to do anything related to the price of the truck - that got increased to the new numbers sometime after I locked the config on Tuesday.

My guide told me yesterday they are working on it and it should be fixed this week. I'm curious how many others may have been caught up in this issue as well...

Just one more delay to add to the list!

I changed it to that configuration after my mobile drive in December...used to be RB/BM/22s
@ssiminou -- just curious what led ya to switch to the 20's from the 22's? Did you see the 22's and not like them? Different ride on the 22's? Just want the better range?

I think the range is actually better with the 22s….I prefer the look of the 22s, but given the off-road ethos of the car, decided to switch to the 20s. We test drove a car with 20s and the ride was good!

For us, the cause was our guide forgot to have us sign the prelim agreement. Hopefully that's it and you don't lose a couple days to troubleshooting like we did!

How soon after guide contact do the prelim agreements go out?

We're a bad example to base your guess on. We were first contacted in the May group last year :p

And our guide forgot to send us the prelim entirely. We didn't realize it was holding things up until our built truck was on the lot at the service center and the website was erroring instead of letting us complete the purchase.

Feb 28th we got the "your truck is ready to enter production" call. It was local and ready for us to claim on March 4th (It'll be in our driveway in 5 more hours).

So if more than 2 days pass, I would recommend gently reminding your guide. It seems like the prelim won't prevent the truck from building/shipping, but it will land you with weird errors when you try to complete the purchase if it didn't get done.

Congrats in advance on taking delivery today!

Wow - the Feb 28th call to Mar 4th means things accelerated quickly. That's great to hear...hopefully the same will happen for many of us on here.

Finally, just got my first ever guide call just now....R1T, Rivian Blue, 20" wheels, ordered 2/11/19. Estimated deliver in "3-6 weeks!" I will keep the group updated, and wondering if any other Dallas folks have been contacted?? Exciting times, and congratulations to those who have already received, the trucks look amazing
