I'd been hoping someone from Central IL would hear from a guide. I'm in Peoria and eagerly awaiting being paired with one. Did they say anything about delivery location? Factory/home delivery/other?

(also wherabouts in east central IL, if you are okay sharing?)
It was just an introductory email. I'll learn more when we have our call on Thursday. I'm out in the country between Pontiac and Kankakee.

I saw my guide's info in my account last night, and I emailed him ASAP. He replied this morning, and I was able to schedule a call for this afternoon. We spoke for about 30 minutes or so, and he was super nice and sympathetic about the long wait.

He said that my delivery window still stands, but that it'll probably be in April (I'm a Mar-Apr window holder). We spoke for a bit about financing/insurance/etc.

I asked about when the eight steps will be activated, and it seems that's just up to the factory/computers, not him. I asked as to if he'll know when my car enters and exits production and is finally shipped...he said he wouldn't have that information (I feel like Rivian should just give us this info, but there's obviously more at play here behind the scenes).

In any case, I'm glad to finally have some communication with a real person! I'm a 12/2018 LE R1T res holder. I think they're being extra conservative with ETAs, but I'll only know more once I get an email that says the eight steps are activated on my account.

What's your configuration? And was this the same in December?

LG/BM/20s

I changed it to that configuration after my mobile drive in December...used to be RB/BM/22s

I just got the email from my guide ! R1T, LE, LG, FE, 20" AT.

He said "We will need to schedule a time for the intro call as soon as possible, as your configuration was selected for the fulfillment, and things can progress quickly!" From the time slots available, the soonest I could schedule the call is for Thursday morning.
Nice, first person on the forum without black mountain to reach this phase!
