I've been wondering how many service center and showrooms/ spaces Rivian has now. They just announced the current numbers in Q2 earnings today:

81 Service Center (currently)
31 Showroom Spaces (currently)

Expansion plans:

100 Service Centers (by end of 2025)
35 Showroom Spaces (by end of 2025)

Any word on when Canton MA is opening up? We were toying around with a configuration for an R1S and the site popped up as an "Experience Center" but with no inventory.

It’s time you open a service center in New Hampshire. I have an appointment in your Charlestown, MA, two and half months out an 100 miles away. Even Tesla got the message opening a new service center in Londonderry, NH.

There is a SC and showroom 5 minutes from my condo, in the city. They are planning on a new location 10 minutes from my house. It suits me.

19 more service centers this year is ambitious. I hope they can do it.

I expect they will ramp up openings as we get closer to the R2 launch.

The current footprint works for a company selling 40k cars per year, but will be insufficient for a company selling 200k cars per year.

These are significant good investments to make, keep them coming Rivian. When R2 launches, you cannot mess up the service experience with all the new folks to the brand. I know it's already rough at many with only the R1's out there in the world.
