This is a tough watch. Do yourself a favor and fast forward to the Rivian, and then fast forward a little more to where she actually starts driving. Finally watch it on 1.5x speed to get through it faster.

I’ve done very little towing so I have a question for folks with more experience. Would it have made a meaningful reduction in tongue weight if they’d backed the IH onto the trailer? I imagine that placing the heavy engine in the IH behind the trailer axles rather than between the axles and the tongue would be a good thing but maybe not in reality. Just wondering.

I don’t know what the weight distribution of that monster is, but you’re probably right that the front is (much) heavier than the rear. There are minor aero benefits of having a vehicle like that point forward, I guess (?), but i’d much prefer the stability of lower tongue weight if it’s safe to do so.
