While you still have warranty, and while Rivian is still providing free loaners and rentals: actively pursue services covered by warranty. You already know it takes time to get an appointment. Don't delay, that'd only make matters worse. I may have made this very same mistake (still under warranty but out of the adjustment period, awaiting outcome while truck is being worked on). With Enterprise rentals, Rivian is covering fuel and rental fees (even when it takes days for them to start work after appt. date). I cannot foresee this policy continuing indefinitely.

It should be a fanned spray correct? Mine is a trickle stream.

I'm thinking I have a 50% water 50% wiper fluid. Or a very weak sum er washer fluid.

My LR4 had diluted summer washer fluid upon delivery that froze and gave me similar results back when I picked it up in winter of 15. I'm going to use my fluid extractor to remove and replace the fluid. The system has high pressure. The fluid I captured in a cup smells very weak.

I don't recall if it's fanned (my truck is at SC), but for sure it should not be a weak trickle.

'24 R1T here,
I had poor nozzle performance on an early service ticket item and was told:
- no issues with the system (within spec)
- nozzles cannot be adjusted for angle or pressure.
At the time my spray would not reach the windshield until arms moved into up position.

Randomly, seems to have gotten better, though still not great, over the past month.
Was thinking some blockage/debris maybe got dislodged?

I had the same thought... These Californians must not need high performance wipers very often!

Drive on!

Yours is not normal compared to mine. I would get that checked.

Except the cars are not built in CA. If you want to take matters into your own hands, the frunk tub and associated panels are easy to remove. The reservoir is right at the front. Check and trace all hoses for pinching. Just be ready with an assortment of plastic "Christmas tree" fasteners. You most likely will break some during removal. This video is for aftermarket horn install on a gen1, but the frunk tub/trim removal shouldn't be too different. This horn kit does not work for gen2, if anyone is wondering.

I'll take a look, thanks!

Its above freezing today, and mine is working normally again. here's a video:

Regardless, I'll be pumping out the OEM fluid and adding -30 de-icer washer fluid. I'll see if I can capture some of the old stuff when flushing the rear, if I can rig a bucket to hang there (no helpers available).

Since I can't get the General Chemistry OEM stuff that everyone likes and smells to good I have been getting this for all of our cars on subscribe and save for the last year. The Rivian mobile tech showed up with the same stuff one time so I'm not so sure if it isn't just a relabled/colored GC product. Anyway, it is nice because I can subscribe to it and it is a bug wash and a deicer in one so I just run it year round. It smells very close to the OEM too...

Yikes that's expensive! But automotive fluids usually are on amzn. I dont get prestone wiper fluid locally, but the similar product from Splash is $4 from local b&m e.g. Lowes. Prestone does have a "winter boost" but only drops your fluid freezing point 20F, or 32 to 12, not enough for me.

I didn't notice it was listed for $16 right now, it's usually $11. In my area the blue cheap stuff at an advanced auto is like $10 so it's not so bad.

It looks like my local NAPA has this stuff in stock for a much better price. Am hoping the -27 is good enough for the CO mountains. I had the factory stuff not working well on a -20 degree trip back from Steamboat the other week. Fluid was barely coming out of the nozzles. Flow is back to normal once things warmed up to ~30 degrees or so.

mine is similar to this, but a little worst. it's probably the worst spreading spray in a car I've owned. but not too upset about it haha.
