Everything posted on the Internet is true, right? This appears to be the source of the claim that it is being towed due to a brake caliper. Reliable source?

Not sure it's worth commentating on hearsay, but if true it's not really surprising or alarming.

Things like that happen in early (and late) vehicle production. But it's another reason why you don't want the first cars off the line.
