Today is the day!!

Driving to Virginia from Western NC this evening and I'm routing through N Charlotte to take advantage of the Rivian chargers at the REI there. I'm not exactly sure why this excites me but after 13 months of ownership I am looking forward to my first Rivian charger experience. I hope it is a similar experience to road-tripping in my Model Y.

my experience driving between Santa Barbara and Mammoth Lakes was flawless but I only used Ran chargers which were perfectly located in InyoKern and Bishop I tried using an electrify America charger as an experiment before I left but was not able to get it to work

The RAN charger I use occasionally is about as easy as it could possibly be. Other than the first time I pulled up I overestimated how long the cable was and had to do the walk of shame back into my truck to re-position

I resemble that remark! Plug and play easy with a bit more handshaking thank with the Tesla. And the best part is that it is F.R.E.E. For now anyway.
