Tire sizes

I’m doing some tire shopping and wondering if my First Gen R1S Adventure with HL275/50R22 absolutely needs HL tires, or if I can get the new tires sans the HL designation.

As long as your load rating is 115 - 116 H, you should be fine. A lot of people using the Continental Terrain Contacts and are happy with them.
