If you don't like that area that's fine, that's your opinion, but you don't need to go out of your way to try to belittle people who do use that area.

Personally, I really like that open area, I use it all the time for things I used to throw on the front passenger seat. And I hate most newer vehicles where the built-up center divider makes you feel like you're driving in a bathtub.
