Just received an unexpected text today saying my R1T is being prepped for delivery -- haven't even received the 8-steps email yet.

I have to admit, all the emails about people having problems with their trucks is making me wonder if I should postpone delivery and wait a little while longer for Rivian to iron out the issues. If your truck was ready to be delivered today, would you take it or give Rivian more time to sort out the issues?

And for those who have a R1T and haven't had a single issue, I'd love to hear from you. Naturally we mostly hear from those with problems, but would love to hear the other side of the story.

I talked to my guide today and decided to delay my shipment to at least September. Just concerned with all the issues popping up and want to let this play out a bit. Also would like to switch to the manual tonneau and see if they provide additional guidance on the max pack!

The strongest message customers can send fo Rivian, is to delay deliveries due to build quality concerns.

It could force Rivian to have to confront the issues sooners.

I think I may do the same thing provided they contact me!
