I haven’t been able to find the DJ mode setting. Looked in the Mobile app. Suggestions?

It’s been in the Spotify app for over a year now. It’s a little circle thingy. I tried it last night in the Rivian and it’s also built into the Rivian Spotify app. I’ll go take a picture.

In my experience over the last week or so, I have found the DJ feature quite good. I entered a single artist that I enjoy, and the DJ has been finding a slew of good music and a bunch of stuff I already like. Maybe its just me... but I rate the DJ a "win".

Seems it’s only available if you have a premium subscription in Spotify.

I think you have to subscribe to see it. I do not and have also not been able to find the DJ feature despite following all the online directions.

Thanks. I haven’t upgraded to Premium yet so that’s probably the issue. Not sure how many music subscriptions I really need.

So I have been using DJ and all day it plays the same playlist of songs. I come back, restart DJ and is identical to just playing a playlist. Anyone else getting ting the same set of songs while using DJ?

I use DJ on iPhone and always get a fresh set of songs when I start it. Only in the Rivian app it seems to be buggy for me.

Yep. The DJ feature has been around for a very long time within the Spotify native app and it has been terrible since Day 1. Basically just plays the “songs I liked” playlist plus a few from your recently listened history. It very rarely plays completely new songs so is terrible for discovery
