I installed 2022.47.0 last night and signed up for the Tidal HiFi Plus trial. I’ve played a number of albums and songs where Tidal has a Master Quality version and, while they sounds great, I don’t think I can discern a major difference between the quality of Spotify and Tidal. (Spotify does seem a bit louder) Perhaps my ears just aren’t good enough? (Or too damaged)

Can anyone else hear a difference?

Downloading the update now. In my Tesla I felt Tidal’s playback was less loud but also less distorted. Total non-audiophile take.

It's hard to tell when streaming in a car since there are too many variables (connection strength, road noise, ambient noise, etc). I felt Tidal's interface was wayyyy too cumbersome to use in my Tesla so I stuck with Spotify and now Apple Music.

How is Apple Music? I sold my Tesla when the Rivian delivered.
