If they aren’t in stock when you’re ready, you could probably have a body shop mix you up a small amount with the right codes…I’ve had a shop do this for me in the past and it worked out fine…matched as good as a paint pen and you get more. Also might be able to even mask it off and air brush it on for an even better result. With that on the edge, I bet only you would ever notice it when the PDR is done. Best of luck!

looks good.

Taking my truck into the body shop this week. Rear-ended a few weeks ago (other car looked much much worse). Exchanged insurance since I think they will have to replace my rear bumper and unsure if any body work (tail gate lifted about a 1/2-1" on one side).

Can PDR be done with PPF in place?

Found a similar dent on my truck today. Someone hit me parked and didn't leave a note. Nothing caught on gear guard unfortunately. Might be too much for PDR and touch up, but buying the touch up paint anyways. The first cut is the deepest...

As a reference point, I had a mobile PDR come out a couple of years back and fix a dinner plate sized dent on the door that went across a sharp edge. He got it near perfect and I returned the car after the lease was done with no extra charges. He charged $300 for the work.

Yep! I've always tried to rack up good karma by at least leaving a note if I do something stupid.

PDR is like magic if you hire the right person. I have used it exclusively on my past 5 cars for door dings and other small dents caused by hit an runners.

It must be an epidemic! This happened to me recently...apparently the rear corners are like magnets for other vehicles. Mine happened while I was parked...young man backed into me but was good enough to come find me and take responsibility...

BTW...initial estimate is $14k. It rippled further up the fender so PDR not an option. They will replace whole side of bed, paint/blend driver rear door and tailgate. They expect final price to approach $20k.

Whattcha gonna do? Guess it's just life...
