That's exciting!
When I took my truck up to Tofino last year it got a LOT of attention. BC seems like a natural place for these vehicles. No shade toward other provinces, I just don't really know any other region than the west coast.
Thinking about it, cooking breakfast while queueing for the ferry might have explained a bit of the attention...

We East Coasters, Americans and Canadians alike, think that you all on the West Coast have lots to offer but would appreciate it if you settled down a little. There’s lots of rugged Earth here in New England, Quebec, and the Maritimes.
As a frequent crosser of the border, I’m pleased to see Rivian getting to Canada. It was hell the first year without the metric system on the instrument panel. Also, it would be lovely to know there’s help up there if and when I do something stupid.
