Hey folks - had a great First Mile Drive this weekend and afterwards during my hourly check of my Rivian account, noticed I’ve got a guide assigned.

(Haven’t had a call with ‘em yet, but have exchanged an email about how good our FMD person was.)

Pulled apart the graphQL to notice that our reservation is flagged as SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMENT. Which seems… good? But unclear on what that actually means. Is this a new thing after the PBA/Tax Credit thing?

This means you're on your way to getting your truck. Happy for you but also disappointed as we both live in NOVA and have similar configs and I placed my order in Sept 2021 but have heard nothing.

ha. I don't think it's a mistake. You have a guide. That's a big step.

Forest edge is being batched right now. Forest edge has the lowest demand out of the interior choices, so they're running through current demand fairly quickly. Your FG/FE config will move you up the ranks fairly quickly, as will many people who have FE currently configured...

Take a look at the R1 shop, almost all FE interiors.

I see you have two orders in your signature. I do not see what models. What models do you have on order, and what model are you asking the questions about "SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMENT". R1T, or R1S?

Yeah, the R1S (our second order) is the one that’s flagged as SELECTED.

IIRC, mine was:

Selected_For_Fulfillment (When Guide was assigned)
PENDING_FULFILLMENT (When PBA was signed)

But this was all in early April before the delay, so it seems to all be different now as I'm pushed back later than others near me with order dates later than my day one reservation. Good luck!

Whoa an R1S. That would be awesome. Is Richmond the closed service center to NOVA? Does the Maryland location still exist?

I think the Rockville location still exists, though the RVA location is walking distance from my friend’s house so I wouldn’t mind a trip down to pick up down there anyway.

Mine sat in "SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMENT" with zero movement for over a month, with my guide having zero idea of when it would actually be built before I finally selected a vehicle from the Shop. (Which was identical to my "selected build" other than having regular 20" AT instead of 20" AT-Bright wheels, which ironically makes it exactly the same as your R1T config other than being a Launch Edition rather than Adventure.)

curious what happened. i never signed a PBA but mine also says the same status as you.

i also see this but have no idea what i means:
