Rivian Account 2FA security now available

For those of us who have been or were clamoring for more account security improvements from Rivian, since we're adding credit cards and such... 2FA is now available on your account.

Go to your account>Click the Circle Icon down at the bottom left with your initials in it> Security Settings> Two-Factor Authentication

SMS only, it appears. Better than nothing. I would prefer being able to use a TOTP from a password manager, however.

But only if said TOTP p/w manager app is on an old unsupported phone where WiFi, Data, and Bluetooth are turned off when it's not locked in a Solar Powered Faraday Cage that can only be opened by whistling the exact pitch of the first six notes of the X-Files theme? ?

Which now hit me out of no where....think of that tune, now think LOTR Rohan theme...ok...it's not THAT close but until I listened to both again...it sounded way closer in my head.

Agreed, small step but better than nothing. Tesla took forever on this if I recall. Kind of strange for tech companies to be behind the ball on this.
