Does Rivian provide reservation holders with a number, that might help to signify where they are at in line like Tesla did with vehicles like the Cybertruck? Not that it really means anything, but it would be cool to know how early we reserved in comparison to everyone else.

They haven't in the past and, with priority delivery to existing owners, it would likely do more harm than good to expose that info.

Notwithstanding, as has been pointed out in the past, being an 'early' reservation holder didn't seem to make any significant impact versus other 'reservation holders.' They're not FIFO-ing this, as far as we're aware.

If they change that strategy later, then I'd anticipate people getting their queue number.
But for now, regardless of whether you ordered 1 second after orders were open, or 1 second before they are ready to start delivery, you probably have similar odds--only way to hedge those odds is to be a current R1 owner, as has been promised from Rivian via email.

They should at least be in a little better position in terms of distribution network, service centers, etc than they were for earlier R1 deliveries. That should largely eliminate delivery sequencing based on location. Outside of preferential treatment for existing customers, etc, that might allow for deliveries to be a little more FIFO than in the past. Will be interesting to see if they still batch initial deliveries by configuration though.
