After spending a couple of hours in two R2's yesterday, listening to Atmost tracks from my Apple Music account- the recent software update has improved thinsg further.

However- and I think this is where many will cite "poor audio" - the streaming quality of TuneIn, iHeart etc is... not great. Versus my recent time in a Model Y streaming the same, bandwidth sounds less/more squashed. Mind you, most of these services stream pretty poor audio quality anyway, but there's room for software improvement there.

For what it's worth, it's significantly better than the standard audio in the Gen 2 R1S vehicles.

We've had our R2 for a few days now and the audio system is lightyears ahead of where it was when we first saw a R2 and in our first demo drives. It is a very good audio system and will only get better if our Gen1 R1S is any example. My only complaint is it doesn't get as loud as I'd like, but there is clearly plenty of headroom. And the lack of decibels isn't a huge deal as I don't crank it every time I'm in the car. I do think one key item is you have to use a good streaming service (we use Apple Music). Bluetooth wasn't great IMHO.
