I've had a base Macan EV for about a year now after 3 Teslas (Model S, Model 3 mid, Model 3 long range). It is a great vehicle, but I got a smoking deal when the EV credit was still available. I won't get that again, so probably won't be in another Macan. Fit and finish has been what I expect from Porsche, but it is at a cost. It's replacement will probably be an R2 or maybe the BMW iX3. I just got some seat time in the iX3 at a local Ultimate Driving Experience, and it is definitely worth a look. I was highly impressed. Great range, great charging, and it is the right size for me. The space isn't as important to me, so you could run into the size issue that you did in the Macan. It will come down to driving the R2 and iX3 back to back for me. Good luck in the search.
