R1T Cabin Filter Replacement Frunk / Cover / Clipped Back Question

Hello Rivian Team!

I just ordered and changed my air filter now that I have 12,000 miles…

However, after clipping the full cover back in .. I just noticed it is not flush on the side towards the cabin. I am concerned water is going to enter in and ruin something.. Is this normal or did I do something wrong? I tried redoing it, but same thing - not totally flush… I notice those three slots on each side that you can barely see as it is not flush. I didn’t notice any clubs in that top middle part.

Is this fan shroud below fully seated - if not it will lift your cowl up just as you’ve described.
The cowl you’re describing is not water tight - so some intrusion will not hurt anything.
