Congrats Billy1963!

moosetags, looks like perhaps Seaside? My parents live down in Seagrove.

We have had good experiences towing our airstream with it. Albeit with a range reduced to ~160 miles but that's doable and even easier now that the Tesla chargers are opened up. (Granted this is in CA.)

Have you done any towing trips or are you sticking with your duramax for now? (Which is a great diesel engine.)
We are at the west end of 30A, south of Goatfeathers. We are using the Rivian to pull the Airstream on shorter trips. We still intend to use the Duramax for the sixty day cross-country excursions. Now that we will have Tesla Superchsrger access, we may extend our Rivian trips.

Oh, yeah. I know where you are talking about. Thanks.

Makes sense. We have only done a couple of weeks at a time with <500 miles per day as of yet although we do go frequently. We plan to try out a cross country working remotely from the trailer. Probably still do <500 miles per day. We did more miles per day with diesel though which I imagine you do for your cross country trips.

Ditto to the color choice. I just moved some boxes 450 miles with Rivvy.

Don't know if you know, but Honda trucks have a nickname, NART(Not A Real Truck).

Congrats and welcome to the family.

We have a blue 2023 R1T Quad and next Friday will be 1 year. We had a few issues within the first month but since then, FLAWLESS!.

We are coming from our first 100% EV (Volve XC40 Recharge). That was a nightmare of a vehicle. WIthin 2 months we had it in the shop 2 times for the same thing....tCAM had to be replaced.

Our other vehicle is a 2021 Rav4 Prime and WE LOVE it as well. My wife drives that most of the time because we get 45 miles on a charge and my wife only runs into town a few times a week.
