R1S Updated Delivery Timeframes?

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but didn't someone recently post about doing the 8-step process a while ago and still haven't gotten his/her R1T yet? It's a good start for sure, but it doesn't necessarily mean delivery to a real world customer is imminent (at least the ones willing to publicize their delivery).

I know someone who received their R1S VIN today who is not an employee. I've also seen online a half dozen other folks where some state they are not employees, though I do not know them.

My Guide also said he matched someone in TX with a VIN (vehicle) and R1S deliveries will begin soon. So, I personally feel safe to assume customer R1S deliveries will begin shortly and I'll let my boys now know that we may actually get our Rivian by years end.

Has anyone made any substantial contact with someone in a position that actually knows anything?

Im almost at my whits end and REALLY have to get a vehicle in the next few weeks and my current daily (BEV 19' Ioniq) just shit the bed and its dead, my other vehicle (Alfa) works flawlessly but its pretty low and a Pain for my 8 month pregnant wife. I have a pole star order but if I know my place in line Id be happy to either go thru with it or NOT depending on a viable/realistic date of a delivery of a R1S.

I was actually a little bummed & emailed my guide yesterday, then traded another message this morning before receiving my 8 steps email. I wrote him after to let him know I'd completed all but insurance & payment; he was surprised to learn I'd been matched (he was away for a couple hours), so it wasn't a magical button he pressed directly.

Congrats! Surprised myself when mine came through - you have a lower VIN than me but I am still below 400
