Proximity Sensor Error (activating) when decellerating or accellerating

Anyone else had an issue with any of the proximity sensors activating and chiming when accellerating (slow or normal) and decellerating? My particular sensor is the front right.



My sensor is undamaged, Service center said everything appeard ok on last visit...but this damn thing won't stop going off when I am driving.

Yup. Turns out I have a damaged sensor. They have to replace it.

I have PTSD from my Mach E. It took Ford 7 months to fix the proximity sensors issues on that car (The TSB Green translucent Tape Fix) while they kept the car. So I had no car for 7 months....hence me owning a RIVIAN while I waited for so long.

Feb 23 R1T - My right front sensor has started sounding off too. I do have a Rago Fabrications metal license plate holder on that tow hook, but the sensor only recently started activating. I don’t think there’s been any change to my plate holder up there. I may try adjusting it’s location a very little bit to see if that helps.

Funny thing. After towing (sensor gets disabled) its not been failing nearly as much. I think my issue is software related. Its had a few moments, but has stopped being a constant ringing.
