Hey all,

I've had VIN 213 for 22 days now as a service loaner and thought I would share what I noticed about it that is different from my delivered vehicle, VIN 31xx.

The early production factory ppf runs all along the side of the truck. There's additional pieces on bottom half of the front and rear doors.

Driver's side.

I spoke with a service rep about PPF on these a while back and he mentioned that the early builds had this PPF on the bottom side of the doors. It was apparently removed because as dirt/water come down the door, it would collect at the top edge of the PPF and become super visible.

He did convince me to PPF the driver and passenger front doors because rocks apparently fly up through the fender black trim and can hit the door. (I was going to stop the PPF at the A-Pillar).
