The elephant in the room...range with vs. without?
I can't say what the range "with" the covers is, since I removed them before I even sat in the truck. The delivery specialist was amused by this.

I can say the range without the covers is good (imo). I did a road trip over the weekend and averaged 410W/mile over the ~580 mile trip. I used conserve mode, but was driving 75-80mph. I am happy with the result. Covers may do better... But I don't feel they are necessary, even for trips.

This may or may not be relevant, but the Tesla Model 3 18" wheels had/have removable aero covers. They claim it's a 1-3% decrease in range when you remove them. However, that's really dependent on your speed. If you're driving city streets most of the time, you'll probably see no difference. If you're doing a lot of 75mph+ driving, then you may notice that small hit.
