Brake squeal driving from stop

I've noticed occasional high pitched squeal from brakes (I assume) when starting from a stop or maneuvering into a parking spot. Anyone experience this? I use AP high regen all the time, and seldom use the brakes.

I have not noticed this. I did spend some time "bedding" the brake pads when I first got my R1T.

Unless something is caught between pad and rotor, brake squeal is normal. Whoever taught you to think all brake squeal mean bad things, they don't know the subject.

I recall that brake squeal might be indication of worn out pads. I rarely step on the brake except for shifting into drive or parking, so I'm not sure how to judge normal vs not normal behavior. I've got about 10k miles now, and have not heard any squeals until it started happening multiple times this week.
