• Tap + in the upper left
• Tap Add a Control
• search for Rivian
• Several separate options come up

Ah, that's what it was! So used to automatic updates, had neglected to go in and see since I got the 15 to replace my XR a couple months ago. Good call.

Also noticed a new thing under keys to add a fob which wasn't there for my Gen2 until now, I think?

This is new in the app for my Gen 2 as well. Looks like a Gen 2 fob is incoming.

The last three times I used RAN and Barstow it errored after 90 seconds and had to move to another charger. Wonder if this’ll help me in this situation.

No, I think the issue is Barstow. They’re still pissed off that they no longer have the world’s biggest McDonald’s.

Mine didn't do that. You might try restarting the phone. Failing that, try clearing the cache for the app.

I have this happening, but only with the apps tinted. Looks normal without the tint, though. App and phone resets don’t seem to fix it.

I experienced it for the first time yesterday! I was like oh hey neat! this is a great cool new feature. Come to realize that it was actually released 1 year ago…?

I just realized you can have 4 different views of the app icon on your iPhone now. The original icon and the following which (to me) is even better than accessing through the control center…

I think you have to be at iOS 18.1 to be able to add the Rivian buttons to the Control Center.

I believe the second and third have existed for some time. The buttons in the control center may be new. This is a bit underwhelming to me since I have the last one already. Maybe some like the buttons because it saves space.
