So, I've taken my vehicle to a 3rd party authorized Rivian repair shop to fix a dent, and they have put it into 'Service Mode'. For some reason the vehicle now shows the mileage as "0 km". Weird. I don't like that the location uses the term 'last known location'..... It would be much more useful if there was a timestamp associated. Also, I understand the need for privacy of the service center, but this is MY vehicle, and if I choose to to have access to location, battery status, and the such, that should be my choice (not a service center's).
FWIW: in service mode if you have it paired with Abrp or api calls to home assistant or anything else the data still updates when the vehicle wakes. When mine was in service recently I would have stale data for 9-10 hours while it was sleeping but the moment it woke all my api data would refresh

That is very good to know, and I didn't even think of trying that. I do have it paired to ABRP so if I'm ever in that situation again I will try it! Thank you.
