R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

schedule another one and mention you’re flexible and can take delivery within a week or two. Ask if they can request shop access for you.

I just did another chat this morning and he was able to request access for me pending approval. So hopefully I will get it this time. In my chat this time I did state my estimated delivery date was Aug-Sep so hopefully that did help.

Squeaky wheel get the grease. I am sure the investors wants everyone to have access and take delivery ASAP. Rivian is doing a solid job trying to keep it as fair as possible.

Yes I hope so. I am an investor as well and I want my stock price to go up as well. I love my Model Y but I cant wait for my R1S.

My pickup is scheduled for next Friday. They wanted me in there Monday but can't make that time work. She said they are really pushing to get everyone out the door before the 30th. Part of me is glad since I'm getting through the process a little quicker, but part of me knows they might overlook more items in final prep.

I’m happy they are pumping these out but they 100% will over look things. Then tell you to take delivery and schedule service for all the issues. Be prepared service appointments are pushed out months.

Yeah problem is I’m 300 miles from the SC. Oh well…ha!

I am in the Atlanta area too with an Aug-Sept date and a promise I should have shop access by December based on my order date

Not sure if this will help. My reservation was from Oct 21 and my delivery date was Q3 24. I managed to ask successfully through a chat (which I waited 2 hours to enter). Note the thing that tells you place in line and how long it will take is all over the place. anyway - she check my history and said I was a good candidate and she'd put my name is queue for access. I never did get an email saying I got it - but I checked 1x per day. It took about a day and a half (till it appeared in the account)

I just got in, too! I asked to be given access last month to no avail, but this thread inspired me to try again today. So I sat on hold for about 50 minutes this afternoon until a very helpful CS rep (Sam) answered the call and said he'd submit my account for review again. About 5 hours later, the magic green banner of worthiness appeared at the top of my account profile.

Very excited. Unfortunately, here in Austin there are only 3 R1S builds available at the moment, none within my current config tolerances. But needless to say I'll be checking the feed hourly for anything new until I find something!
