Hello all,

I’ll be going on vacation for two weeks, anything I should do to the vehicle before we leave? Or just leave as is? thanks!

Sorry, I will be leaving the vehicle at home for two weeks while we go on vacation, not driving it.

I think ideal SoC for most battery packs is 50%'ish when left Idle. Maybe burn off range to 50% or so, plug-in, and set SoC to 50%.

I would leave it plugged in with it set between 50-70%, but otherwise just enjoy your trip.

Oh, and DM me your address and location of your key card so I can exercise the motors while you are gone.

I have done it many times... I drove the car to under 50%, set the charge limit to 50% and kept it plugged in. No problem so far.

Yep, that’s my go-to procedure as well. Less than two weeks, I use 75% and let it drain about 1% per day.

I just got back from three weeks in Japan. I plugged my R1T in and set it to 70%. I got home yesterday and didn’t notice any issues when driving.

It’s not that long of a period of time so just treat it normally.

What if you can't leave it plugged in? What's the best mode/settings to conserve power and avoid drain?
