I am not either, sadly.

This morning I did a hard reset, reset trip A, and went for a drive. Quite the discrepancy between what the Energy Monitor shows vs Trip A. A 0.4 mi/kWh difference.

My assumption has always been that the trip data is drive line only, and overall efficiency takes into account other vehicle systems like HVAC. I wonder if you took out the .2kwh usage from your vehicle systems it would match your trip data mi/kwh. It's a reason I was excited when they released the efficiency tab so I could see what other systems were using. But mine is usually pretty close I think. I'll have to check again.

Just noticed mine doing this... Like others I've been using Trip A for lifetime data, and I put new Michelin Defenders on in July and know my efficiency has gone up over the factory Pirellis, but the Trip A efficiency is going down. Computers are supposed to be good at math, no? Doing the math for Trip A, it should show 2.30 mi/kWh. (My Trip B accurately shows 2.39 with the new tires.)

I'm using Trip B as an overall Mi/kWh measure which includes not just driving but all of the vampire drain while parked, the A/C used while parked, etc.
I’m doing the same. I reset Trip A just before a drive and find it is often wildly different than the values repported for the drive on the energy screen, especially if the drive is short, say under 10 miles. As a drive gets longer, the Trip A and energy screen Mi/kWh seem to asymptotically approach each other. I can’t imagine why the values don’t match. They should both be using the same raw data. Also I HATE that the miles displayed on the energy screen lack a decimal point. They are almost always off by a mile from Trip A and sometimes two or more. How is that even possibl?
