Has anybody from the Houston area received a delivery this far … and has anyone seen a Rivian charging station there?

Yes. There have been deliveries to Houston. There are no chargers built yet. Rivian has partnered with HEB and a few of the ones we know of will be in HEB parking lots.

The first delivery was to an employee. Below is his Instagram page. Looks like he lives in the Galleria area. I don’t frequent that area much and haven’t seen it. One of my co-workers saw the truck at night on San Felipe.
Now that Dallas is starting test drives, I hope that means that Houston is close to getting test drives, unless they skip over us. There are also members In this forum making trips to the Houston service center to check out the progress. I expect that there will be R1Ts there soon enough.

Haha. My delivery window for my R1S is July-September this year, so not yet. And it remains to be seen whether Rivian can deliver during this window. If they ask me to switch from Ocean Coast to Black Mountain to get delivery sooner, it is going to be a no.

Nice! I live in the Galleria area and would love to have a peep! Never seen one to date. Maybe the employee could give some insights on how thus guide contact thing is being handled. It appears from the various member posts that Rivian does not have all the futures they gave been advertising but they don’t bother to inform the customers to adjust their configs. I think they are starting to taking us for granted.

I've been charging at EA around town. Since my commute is along I10.
I did run into a Launch Green R1T driven by an employee at a EA station. He had his in Dec 2021. Besides him, I haven't run across another R1T owner here.

They'll send you an email when things are getting close. Your guide will then give you further details as they will be your main point of contact.
I do hope the software does get updated quickly, at least getting the garage door opener unlocked!

Picked up my blue R1T in Dallas on Friday. I live in Kingwood but home charger delayed for two weeks so I’m using EA, EVgo and 110 outlet at home.
