I experienced rodent damage a few weeks ago to my Tee - the nasty animal chewed through the air line disabling the suspension. I want to compliment Rivian Service in general for promptly sending the flatbed to transport my truck to the Atlanta service center for repair. And I want to further compliment the AtlSC for promptly identifying the issue and repairing it in a timely fashion. While there, they addressed other minor squawks and returned a nicely operational Tee.
During our conversation, I jokingly asked the service officer (Jonathan I think) if they wouldn’t go ahead and replace the broken Gen 1 cover with the reengineered Gen 2 and to my happy surprise, they agreed! So, the good: I have an operating tonneau cover again. The bad: I can’t tell a huge difference in operation. For all I know, it is so close that it may be a reinstalled Gen 1 instead of a reengineered Gen 2.
