Gear tunnel door storage fail (door w/ compressor hose hinges failed)

Hey all,
I’ve got a 2022 R1T and the little door that contains the compressor hose hinges failed.
Any known fixes?

mine popped out and I was able to pop it back in by bending the door while putting pin back in the hole.

Mine did that all the time until I moved the compressor hose out of that pocket - just pop it back in. It does surprise me the dichotomy between all the brilliant engineering on this truck and then just super janky little things like this. Nbd though, it's not broken, just not well designed.

I've only used my compressor hose once. Carefully wound it back up and got it back into the pocket, don't want to try again. I bought a small 12V compressor for my general air needs.

A trick to being able to make the hose fit well again and stay compact is to put a big velcro strop on it. I get it rolled back up then compress it while pulling the strap around the bundle, and it fits well again.

I removed the Rivian air hose and put in a closet. I bought a 4-tire balanced deflator/inflator with air pressure gauge.. much better. I now use the gear tunnel door storage for hand tools and gloves. But the latch is weak and is starting to fail. When I slam the door closed, the inside compartment door occasionally opens and dumps the contents onto the floor of the gear tunnel.
