OK, kinda weird issue that I believe started a day or two ago. Yesterday I noticed my driver side gear tunnel door was popped open (just unlocked but couldn't open it all the way since it was half latched I guess you would say) and thought it was weird so just pushed it all the way closed and it latched no problem. Went out to the truck later on that same day and notice when I unlocked the truck with the proximity unlock the gear tunnel door popped open again. I pushed it closed again and then tried to unlock it using the button on the bed rail but wouldn't unlock it or do anything. I could use the app or the onscreen controls in the truck to open the gear tunnel door just fine. The button seemed inoperative so I decided to do a hard reset. Did that and after the reboot completed, all the doors made the unlock sound and then the gear tunnel unlocked as well.

What I've noticed so far with playing with it is that if I use proximity unlocking it unlocks the driver side gear tunnel (passenger side works just fine as does the physical unlock button) but if I unlock the truck with the app or push the unlock button on the fob it doesn't do it. I had gotten the button to actually unlock the gear tunnel door a couple of times but it doesn't seem to want to work anymore. I'm on the latest update and even tried another hard reset a few hours after I did the first but same problem. Not sure if it's a hardware issue or software glitch (seems to be like it is software due to the weird behavior). Anyone else have weirdness like this with either of their gear tunnel doors?

I just want to double check when you say unlock with the app, are you talking about proximity unlock or there unlock button?

Do you have proximity/fob set to only unlock the driver door?

The reason I ask is I ran into a similar sounding issue when I had my unlock set to driver only where I couldn't unlock the charger from the port or gear tunnel door buttons.

I had to set my unlock to driver only because I had a misaligned rear passenger handle that was rubbing.

I am currently on 2023.30.0 and I'm not noticing any bizarre behavior with the gear tunnel door.

In addition to a reset, maybe try unlocking the gear tunnel door and letting the system relock after? I think it's 2 minutes, maybe it'll realign something.

If the unlock/opening works fine from the app or the screen but not from the button itself, maybe there's a chance that something isn't signaling correctly.

You might also want to check that there isn't any debris in the latch mechanism, maybe it's not fully engaging.

Thanks Destreyf. When I unlock using the app by going into controls then specifically opening the drive side gear tunnel it opens it fine. Same goes if I use the onscreen controls in the truck to open the driver side gear tunnel. I had the truck set to unlock all doors when unlocked via proximity keys but tried setting it to only unlock driver, waited until it locked, then unlocked the truck by pressing the unlock button on the fob once, which unlocked just the driver door, then again to unlock the rest of the doors and it didn't automatically unlock the gear tunnel. The gear tunnel physical button still doesn't work now though. Will try your idea of unlocking the gear tunnel and then letting it sit and see what happens. Thanks for the input.
